Where can I place a shed on my property? Does it require a permit?
Any structure under 200 square feet in area does not require a building permit, but it must meet setbacks and easement requirements for your lot. The best way to find this information is to call the Planning and Zoning Department at (208) 468-5484.
2.
Can I have Chickens on my property?
Inside the city limits, a property owner may keep up to 10 hens on their property. Roosters are not allowed. See Zoning Ordinance Chapter 21 for more animal regulations.
