Which Class? • Each child must pass a particular level and granted a Red Cross Card before proceeding to the next level. • All age requirements must be followed unless instructor’s approval has been granted. • It is not uncommon for a child to stay in a particular level for several sessions before successful completion. • Classes missed for vacation, injury, sickness or any other reason cannot be made up and are non-refundable. Skills Evaluation Unsure of what level your child should be placed in? Sign your child up for a 5-10 minute skills evaluation with a certified instructor who will recommend an appropriate level. Boys and girls in kindergarten and first grade will have fun playing basketball that emphasizes learning skills and sports values rather than pure competition. Each child is placed on a team coached by a parent volunteer. Teams will have one 45-minute practice and one game per week. Practices begin July 8. Games will begin July 11. Coaches needed! If you are interested in working with or coaching a team let us know upon registration.
Family Yoga Change up your fitness routine or try something new! Join our certified instructors outside near the amphitheater in Lakeview Park or at Lincoln Pool in Lions Park throughout the summer for a variety of FREE family fitness activities!
Youth Tennis 101 teaches the basic concepts and strokes of the game quickly and easily in a fun, family-friendly, active & encouraging group environment. Classes will take place on multiple courts with instructors trained and provided by Idaho Tennis Association. Ages 6-14 Lions Park Tennis Courts (508 Davis Ave.)
Come create and build your own mini movie set out of Super Hero Legos and anything else to help create your own animated movie! Children will use technology to make an animated movie with complete editing capabilities, effects, music and narration all through iMovie and Stop Motion. We teach drawing with a see-touch-do method that all kids can learn from and love! Each session has a different theme this summer. We know children already love to draw – we just take their love a little further by giving them a solid foundation that will turn doodles into confidence-boosting artistic achievements.
