Event date is typically the first Saturday in November and starts between 8:00 and 9:30 AM. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION - second Monday in October.
(1) Be at least 60 years old, OR
(2) Disabled (no age qualifications, but all other criteria apply)
(3) Unable to rake up property
(4) Reside within Nampa City Limits
(You will not be disqualified based on yard size; this just allows us to appropriately match teams with workloads!)
Someone must be present on the day the property will be raked. Bags of debris/leaves will be left for regular curb side trash services.
*Nampa Parks Department will be picking up select bags of leaves for composting! Don't be alarmed if someone is "stealing" your trash!
I understand my yard is raked by supervised volunteers, and to the best of my knowledge, this information is correct. I will not hold the sponsoring agencies or the volunteers liable for damages.
Deadline for 2020 will be announced soon. Volunteers may take additional days prior to or after the event to complete at their discretion and with your permissions.
