1. I have a question regarding jury duty, a court date, a disposition, or arrest records

All legal matters are handled through the Canyon County Courthouse, not the City of Nampa. The Courthouse can be reached at (208) 454-7300.

2. I need a certified copy of a birth, marriage, or death certificate

These records are not held by the City of Nampa. All requests for these records can be submitted via the Idaho Bureau of Vital Records and Health Statistics. Vital Records can be reached by phone at (208) 334-5988.

3. I need a new copy of a naturalization or citizenship certificate

All requests for new naturalization/citizenship documents must be filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Information on applications for replacement certificates can be found at the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services Website. 

4. I am looking to start a business in Nampa. What type of business license do I need

The City of Nampa does not issue general business licenses. Licenses are only required for specific types of businesses, including those that sell alcohol, door-to-door sales, pawnbrokers, alarm installers, private investigators, private security, motor escorts, and gem dealers.
