1. How do I dispose of my prescription drugs?

Each year, in conjunction with the DEA, the Nampa Police Department participates in the "National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day." Like our Facebook page to get a notification when we announce our next event.

Additionally, we also now have a prescription drug drop off box in the lobby of the Nampa Police Department, where unused prescription drugs can be disposed of when we aren't hosting a take back event.

2. How do I report a crime in progress?

For any in-progress crime, please call 911 for emergency incidents, or 208-465-2257 for non-emergency incidents. Please do not use any of our crime report forms for in progress incidents. They are intended only for cold case incidents, as there can be a delay of up to 24 hours before those reports are received.

3. How do I Report a Broken Link or Feature on this Site?

To report a broken link or non functioning feature on this website, contact our Web Administrator. Please include a link to the page of our website that hosts the broken link, and indicate which link or feature is not functioning.

4. Can I get criminal records/fingerprints from NPD?

NPD can provide limited criminal records releases. That information only includes City of Nampa Police Department contacts, and will not include any criminal records for incidents which occurred outside the City of Nampa. Records can be only released, on and to, the party requesting them, and I.D. is required for release. NPD can also conduct fingerprinting for bond licensing, and limited foreign travel purposes. More extensive records may also be obtained through the Idaho State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification.
