Nampa grieves the loss of Idaho National Guardsman and Nampa resident Chief Warrant Officer 3 Mat

"The City of Nampa grieves the loss of the three Idaho Guardsmen, one of which was a Nampa resident. I am extremely saddened by the loss of our three Idaho National Guardsmen: Chief Warrant Officer 3 Matthew Peltzer, 43, of Nampa, Chief Warrant Officer 4 Jesse Anderson, 43, of Boise and Chief Warrant Officer 3 George “Geoff” Laubhan, 39, of Boise. My heart and prayers are with their families and the broader Idaho National Guard family who are grieving their loss. The sacrifices made by our Idaho National Guard is so greatly appreciated; many of us will never fully know the sacrifices they have made to serve our state and our country."  -Mayor Debbie Kling
