[ARCHIVED] Nampa Police Investigate shooting

On Monday October 26th of 2020 at approximately 1:51 a.m. Officers responded to the area of the 7300 block of Edgebrook Drive in Nampa for multiple reports of shots being fired in the neighborhood.  Officers arrived on scene and conducted an initial investigation.

 

Officers discovered the incident started when a resident interrupted a burglary in progress outside his residence.  The resident confronted the suspects and was ultimately shot in the arm.  The resident was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.

 

The investigation is ongoing, and investigators are asking anyone who witnessed this incident, have video or have any information that would assist this investigation to contact Det Matt Richardson at 208-565-5137 or Cpl. Bryce Martin at 208-468-4486.
