With no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Idaho as of this morning, Nampa’s State of the City address is scheduled to proceed as planned at 4:30 p.m. at the Nampa Civic Center.
We encourage anyone who would prefer to watch the address remotely to do so via livestream at http://www.livestream.com/cityofnampa and ask everyone to follow the CDC guidelines to protect themselves and others.
We are closely monitoring the status of the COVID-19 situation in Nampa and Idaho and are in close communication with agencies in the valley. Should new information become available, we will help to rapidly disseminate it.
ABOUT NAMPA’S STATE OF THE CITY
Mayor Debbie Kling invites the community to Nampa’s State of the City on Thurs., March 12, 2020 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Nampa Civic Center’s John Brandt Performing Arts Theater. This year’s theme is “The Power of One.”
Nampa’s State of the City address is free to attend and seating within the theatre is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Immediately following the address, the community is invited to a reception with appetizers ($5/ticket) prepared by students of the Nampa School District culinary arts program from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. NNU’s Jazz Revival will perform live entertainment.
The 2020 State of the City Presenting Sponsors are Brown & Caldwell, HDR, Saint Alphonsus, Saltzer Health and St. Luke’s. The Reception Sponsor is Republic Services. A portion of sponsorships benefit the Mayor’s Teen Council program.
