[ARCHIVED] Nampa Police arrest suspect on drug charges after serving search warrant

On March 4th, 2020 at 3:00 a.m., Nampa police Department Special Investigation Unit served a search warrant in the 7000 block of E. Declaration Dr. in Nampa. The investigation began when the police department received information that the resident was involved in illegal drug trafficking.

The Special Investigations Unit received a search warrant as a result of the investigation. During the search investigators located approximately 17 grams of heroin, 69 grams of cocaine, 258 grams of methamphetamine, 500 grams of marijuana, and multiple prescription pills that were packaged for resale, with an approximately street value of $12,500. Also recovered were Two firearms and about $5000 in cash.

39-year-old Nampa resident, Justin Colangelo was arrested for 4 counts of trafficking.

Trafficking in Heroin over 7 grams

Trafficking in methamphetamine over 200 grams

Trafficking in cocaine over 28 grams

Trafficking in marijuana over 1 pound

Possession of paraphernalia


40-year Crystal McCarter was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, Possession of heroin, and possession of paraphernalia.
