Nampa Library art proposals open for comment, Feb. 27-March 9

Nampa Library

The Nampa Public Library issued a request for proposal for an art installment in the Local History Area on the third floor. Fifteen (15) submissions were received and three finalists were chosen by the art selection panel: Allen and Mary Dee Dodge, Collin Pfeifer, and Rachel Teannalach.

The artist proposal boards will be on display and available for public comment at these locations:

  • Feb. 27-March 1, Nampa Rec Center
  • March 2-4, Flying M Coffee Garage
  • March 5-9, Nampa Public Library

All public comments will be compiled and shared with the art selection panel when it meets to pick a winner March 11. The Nampa Library Board will then approve the selected art.

The new art installation is funded by the Nampa Public Library Foundation through proceeds donated in appreciation of Karen Ganske, former Nampa Library Director.
