The God and Country Festival of the Treasure Valley is being held at the Ford Idaho Center tomorrow, June 26, 2018. The gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and there will be many events before the fireworks celebration. The fireworks will occur after dark.

The Nampa Police Department is prepared to help everyone have a safe evening. This is a community event and a celebration of our great city, state and nation. Several thousand people attend this event annually. Due to the considerable number of people that will be attending this celebration, there will be traffic congestion, delays and some detours in the area around the Ford Idaho Center. Please avoid Garrity Boulevard and Idaho Center Boulevard if possible. We encourage anyone that does not need to travel through the area to avoid it during the event and especially when it is over and attendees are headed home.

Nampa Police Officers and volunteers will be out in force assisting with traffic control. We ask that those wishing to watch the fireworks from a distance to not park illegally or park a vehicle that is blocking any roadways. Please have patience and enjoy the evening!
