[ARCHIVED] Suspect in double stabbing is in custody and charged with aggravated battery.

On April 23, 2018, at approximately 4:12 pm, the Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force located Paula Gaitan at a Nampa residence and she was taken into custody without incident.  
Paula Gaitan was booked into the Canyon County Jail on two counts of Aggravated Battery.  During the course of the investigation, it was learned that the victims were acquainted with one another; however, their relationship was not close.
At this time this does not appear to be a gang or drug related crime.  The case is still under investigation.
Also, please note the time of the incident last night was reported at 10:46 pm when in actuality it happened at 8:46 pm.
