[ARCHIVED] Nampa Police are investigating a possible attempted abduction.

Photo of suspect white delivery van taken from surveillance cameras

Last evening, November 14, 2017, at 7:24 p.m., Nampa Police Officers were notified of a possible child abduction that had just occurred. The incident took place on South Skyview Drive off of Dooley Lane at about 7:00 p.m.

It was reported that a white van drove slowly by a residence on South Skyview Drive where there were two pre-teen girls playing outside. The van turned around and stopped in front of the house and the girls ran into their garage. The male driver of the van exited the vehicle and chased the girls partially up the driveway. The driver then returned to the van and drove away. There are some neighbors that are reporting the van was possibly in the same neighborhood the previous evening.

The van is described as a white, newer van with a chassis cab, no windows behind the front doors, the driver side upper taillight is burnt out and there are no logos or emblems on the vehicle. The driver was described as a male that was wearing a black hoodie over his head.
