[ARCHIVED] Nampa Police investigating morning shooting causing two deaths.

On Aug 29, at 9:04 a.m., Nampa Police Dispatch received a call stating that a shooting had occurred at a residence. The residence is located in the Silver Crest Estates subdivision in the 1900 block of West Flamingo Avenue in Nampa.


Officers responded to the residence and attempted contact with the occupants of the home via phone. When officers were not able to make contact with anyone inside, they entered the residence. The officers located an elderly, married couple inside of the home. Both were presumed to have been shot. The male is identified as Harry L. Price, 83. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The female is identified as Eunice K. Price, 82. Eunice was transported to a local hospital, where she died from her injuries.  The couple both lived in the home that this incident took place.


Nampa Police detectives and the Canyon County Coroner’s Office are currently investigating this incident. It is being investigated as a homicide/suicide.


Nampa Police advised that they are not currently searching for any suspect in this case. They also advise that there is no further danger to the public regarding this incident.
