The Nampa Police Department invites the public to attend an open house between 4 and 7 p.m. Monday, July 31, at the Nampa Police Department, located at 820 2nd St. S.
This free event will include guided tours of the Police Department building and opportunities to interact with officers and see first-hand how some of the department’s equipment is used.
In addition, there will be demonstrations by NPD K9 handlers and their K9 partners, the Tactical Response Team, Bomb Unit, Crime Lab and more.
“This is a great opportunity for residents of all ages to get a real sense for how the Police Department works,” Sgt. Tim Riha said. “We hope Nampa citizens will take time to come down to the police station for the open house. It should be both fun and educational.”
