[ARCHIVED] Nampa Police investigating drive-by shooting that occurred last evening.

On May 23, 2017, at 10:45 p.m., Nampa Police officers were dispatched to a shots fired call in the 100 block of North Ethel Drive. Several callers contacted Nampa Police Dispatch and reported hearing the gunshots.


When officers arrived on scene, they located a residence that had been shot into. There were four juveniles in the residence at the time the shooting took place. None of the occupants of the home was injured. Spent casings were found in the street in front of the residence and at least two of the bullets went into the home.


One of the residents in the area reported seeing a dark-colored passenger car, possibly a Honda. This vehicle was seen turning towards the area of the shooting just before it occurred. There were no other suspect or vehicle descriptions reported to police. It is unknown if this was a gang-related drive-by shooting. The incident is currently an ongoing investigation.
