[ARCHIVED] Nampa Police investigating shooting incident that occurred over the weekend.

On Feb. 19, at 2:45 a.m., Nampa Police officers responded to the report of a shooting that occurred in the 90 block of North Yale Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 22-year-old male, a Nampa resident, that had been shot once in the abdomen. The male was transported to a local hospital for treatment for his injuries.


Detectives from the Nampa Police Department are currently investigating this incident. At this time, there is no information on the suspect in this crime. Based on the information obtained thus far, there is no cause for concern for the public as this appears to be an isolated incident.
