[ARCHIVED] Drug search warrant in Nampa nets arrests and recovers stolen property.

On Nov. 9, at 6:21 a.m., Nampa police officers and investigators served a search warrant at 1022 W. Camelot Drive in Nampa. The search warrant was obtained through the work of the METRO Violent Crimes Task Force and Nampa Police ROP Team and SIU investigators.


“This investigation began with information given to officers assigned to our newly formed ROP team,” Lt. Skoglund said. “Our ROP team was designed to target repeat offenders and work problem houses to remove criminals from our neighborhoods and this is a good example of those duties they have been assigned.”


During the search officers located a small amount of methamphetamine, items of drug paraphernalia and stolen property.  The stolen property included identification cards, a Social Security card as well as several stolen financial transaction cards. Eight people were located at the residence when the search warrant was served. Alija Burns, age 20, was booked into the Canyon County jail.  The other seven individuals were released on a summons to appear in court.


Below is a list of the individuals identified and their charges:


Alija A. Burns, age 20, charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used, a misdemeanor and three counts of grand theft by unauthorized control, felony charges. 

Timothy Frazier Jr., age 33, charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used, a misdemeanor.

Adrianna S. Leighton, age 26, charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used, a misdemeanor.

Desiree B. Ochoa, age 21, charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used, a misdemeanor.

Nicholas A. Leighton, age 19, charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used, a misdemeanor.

Anthony J. Lopez, age 22, charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used, a misdemeanor.

Theresa L. McCarter, age 26, charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used, a misdemeanor.

Stephanie G. Flores, age 20, charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used, a misdemeanor.
