[ARCHIVED] Nampa Police arrest two persons for multiple drug offenses and warrants.

On April 23, 2016 at about 3:30 p.m., Nampa Police arrested Esau Deloya, a 29 year-old Nampa resident and Emily Richardson, a 20 year-old female for multiple drug trafficking, possession of controlled substance charges and warrants.

A Nampa Police detective recognized Esau Deloya outside of a residence near the 100 block of N. Stanford. The detective knew Deloya had a felony warrant for his arrest. The detective requested assistance and officers were able to take Deloya into custody on the warrant. Deloya had a backpack in his possession at the time of his arrest. When officers searched the backpack they located approximately ½ pound of methamphetamine, 28 grams of cocaine and 25 grams of heroin. The total street value of the drugs that were in his possession is approximately $15,000.00 dollars. Officers also discovered a credit card and identification that had been reported stolen from a Meridian man.

Emily Richardson was with Deloya at the time of his arrest. Officers discovered that she had warrants for her arrest and she was placed into custody on the warrant. Suspected methamphetamine and marijuana was located in a makeup bag that also contained Richardson’s identification.

Deloya was charged with three counts of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and the warrant. Richardson was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and two warrants. Both subjects were booked into the Canyon County Jail on the listed charges.
