[ARCHIVED] NPD Press Release: Police arrest two in Butterflies day care center theft

On Jan. 25, 2016, Nampa Police received a report of stolen surveillance cameras from the Dragonflies and Butterflies day care center. With the assistance of the victim in cooperation with Nampa officers, the Nampa Police Department was able to locate the suspects and take them into custody. A search warrant of the suspect’s residence was executed but the stolen property was not located.

As a result of the investigation, Nampa Police have arrested Mark A. Brummett, age 40, of Nampa and Robert A. Wade, age 38, of Nampa on the charge of Petit Theft, described as follows: Idaho Code 18-2403. THEFT. A person steals property and commits theft when, with intent to deprive another of property or to appropriate the same to himself or to a third person, he wrongfully takes, obtains or withholds such property from an owner thereof.
