The Nampa Police Department unveils a newly redesigned Web site today to broaden its outreach, increase information available to the public and improve maintenance efficiency with better integration with social media.

The site, which follows the same style as most city of Nampa web pages, can be found at nampapolice.org.

“The newly designed website will assist the Nampa Police Department in achieving our mission of protecting and serving everyone, enforcing laws and deterring crime and preserving, enhancing and improving the quality of life for the citizens of Nampa,” Nampa Police Chief Craig Kingsbury said. “This site will make access to NPD even easier for the people we serve. We are truly proud and honored to serve our citizens.”

Citizens will find more than 20 different forms for reporting crimes, incidents or seeking licenses. There’s also a resources page that includes links to several local and state resources including landlord tenant guidelines, Idaho Statutes, Nampa City Code and the Idaho State Judiciary Repository.

The revamped Web site also includes information about the different investigative and community divisions, specialty units, crime prevention, departmental history and historical photos.

Cpl. B.J. Koho, Evidence Specialist Tara Koho and the Information Technology Department worked on this project, Kingsbury said.
