[ARCHIVED] Nampa Police Capture Wanted Man After Brief Chase

At about 9:30 a.m., Nampa Police Officers observed a wanted subject in an apartment complex in the 1900 block of 1st St. No. The subject was identified as 22 year old Shane Tucker, Transient. Tucker was wanted on a Robbery warrant.

As Police Officers approached Tucker, he fled the parking lot of the apartment complex in a blue Dodge pickup.

A few hundred feet east of the original contact with Tucker, he crashed the pickup into 2 parked cars in another apartment complex parking lot in the 1900 block of E. Railroad.

Tucker then exited the pickup and unlawfully entered through a window, into an apartment. He ran through the apartment, and exited out the back and was apprehended by police on E. Railroad. Tucker was treated and released from a local hospital with a minor leg injury.

Tucker was taken to Canyon County jail where he was arrested for the Robbery warrant, Possession of a controlled substance, unlawful entry, Reckless Driving, Driving while suspended, and resisting arrest.
