The City of Nampa and Arts and Historic Preservation committee have approved a design for new artwork in Downtown Nampa.
The artwork will display NAMPA in large letters and be located in Lloyd Square. On the front surface of each letter is a variety of words that consist of key figures, places and events representing Nampa’s culture and history.
The image is a concept design to show what the sculpture will look like but the words that will be included have yet to be finalized. The community was
invited to participate in a brief survey to help determine the list of words to send to the artist to include in the final design.
The artwork should be finalized soon and installation is expected to take place in 2023!
