The City of Nampa will officially switch to a new utility billing website for our customers on November 21, 2022. The existing utility payment system used is being phased out and an update is needed. The new electronic billing and payment portal costs less, provides additional options for customers and is more user-friendly. It will offer the same great features as well as a few additional options.
Unfortunately, we are unable to copy customer debit/credit card information to the new system. Customers who currently have auto-payment set up on the utility billing website using a debit or credit card must enter payment information into the new customer website before November 21, 2022 to avoid late payments or future shut-offs.
In order for this to be a smooth transition for those who pay online, customers are asked to follow the steps below steps before November 21:
- Visit the new website at https://nampa.billingdoc.net
- Click "Create an account" and enter contact information (customers will be asked to verify their email address)
- Add account number (account numbers will remain the same and can be found on the latest utility bill)
- Add payment information (debit card, etc.)
Step-by-step instructions are available for customers at https://nampa.billingdoc.net and we encourage all customers to create their new customer login before November 21. Customers who pay with check or cash do not need to take any action unless they would like to access their customer information online.
Over the next several weeks, the City of Nampa will be reaching out to its utility customers, which total nearly 38,000 accounts, through utility billing inserts, social media, phone messages and email communication. The City of Nampa Utility Billing Department is located at 401 3rd St S and can be reached by calling 208-468-5711 during office hours (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
