The City of Nampa has retained the services of BerryDunn, a national parks, recreation, and open space consulting firm, to assist the city with updating our Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The master plan update will look at the existing parks, recreational facilities, programs, and services, and determine the current and future level of services for the community based on public input. The plan will prioritize the needs and desires for upgrading and improving parks, recreational facilities, amenities, programs, and services as well as identify where there are underserved amenities.
The BerryDunn team will be conducting focus group meetings August 16-17, 2022 at the Harward Recreation Center located at 131 Constitution Way. Responses from the focus groups and a statistically-valid survey, to be conducted in the next several months, will provide valuable information about the City of Nampa’s current and future recreational needs. Residents and park users are invited to participate in a focus group during the following dates and times and we hope to have up to 20 participants in each group:

The BerryDunn team will share high-level feedback received at and provide an opportunity for others who might be interested in the parks master plan to share additional comments on Wed., August 17, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Nampa City Hall (411 3rd Street South) in council chambers. If you cannot participate in one of the focus groups, please don’t miss this opportunity to share your thoughts on this very important issue for our community.
