Applicants sought for Venue Management Committee

Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling is seeking applications to fill a single vacancy on the City of Nampa’s Venue Management Committee. 

The Venue Management Committee advises the mayor and Nampa City Council in directing and managing the affairs of the Ford Idaho Center and the Nampa Civic Center, and advise as to the potential benefits or drawbacks of the formation of any future auditorium district to be established or proposed either wholly or partially within the city limits of the City of Nampa.

This commission meets once a month on the third Thursday of the month at 3:30 p.m. at the Ford Idaho Center. The board consists of eight members who all serve staggered terms. This currently vacant term expires August 30, 2023. 

DEADLINE: All applications are currently being accepted through Sunday, July 17, 2022. 

TO APPLY: Interested individuals are encouraged to download the application form at cityofnampa.us/serve and submit both a simple resume and a letter of interest expressing reasons why they would like to serve via email to Chief of Staff Rick Hogaboam at [email protected] or deliver/mail to Nampa City Hall at 411 3rd Street South, Nampa, Idaho 83651 by deadline.

Applicants must be appointed by Mayor Kling and confirmed by the Nampa City Council before beginning their term of service.
