The Nampa Parade America Committee, Inc. invite the community to the 55th annual Parade America beginning at 11 a.m. Sat., May 21, 2022. The theme for this year’s annual patriotic event is “Our Great Heritage,” and includes floats, horses, marching bands, antique cars, and much more.
The Nampa Parade America Committee will accept parade entries online at nampaparadeamerica.com. The deadline to register is Monday, May 13, 2022. The website also includes the parade route as well as rules and guidelines for entry.
New this year, the Nampa Chamber of Commerce will host an official ribbon cutting for the parade at 10:30 a.m. and the Warhawk Air Museum will signal the beginning of the parade with a flyover at 11 a.m. The parade starts at the corner of 12th Avenue Road and Lake Lowell Avenue near Nampa High School and follows a route on 12th Avenue Road to 7th Street South, to 16th Avenue South, ending near Northwest Nazarene University campus at Holly Street and East Colorado.
Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling said, "Parade America is an important tradition in our community and I am so thankful for the volunteers working to make this event possible. Parade America is a special time to honor America’s great heritage and our military members. I encourage our community to attend.”
