Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling is seeking applications to fill a soon-to-be vacant Nampa City Council seat. Nampa citizens with a desire to represent their community and provide guidance on important matters are invited to apply.
After serving on Nampa City Council for just over six years, Councilwoman Sandi Levi (Seat 4) has announced her resignation, effective May 2, 2022.
Citizens interested in serving are encouraged to submit a letter and resume outlining their qualifications and community involvement with completed application (available at cityofnampa.us/serve) to [email protected] by Sunday, April 24. Applicants must live within Nampa city limits. The existing council seat will be up for re-election in November 2023 and serve through January 2, 2024.
Final applicants will be interviewed a committee and Mayor Kling will make her final recommendation to Nampa City Council for confirmation as soon as possible.
Mayor Kling said, “On behalf of the City of Nampa, I would like to thank Councilwoman Levi for her years of service both on Nampa City Council and on other boards as well. I greatly value and appreciate the time and dedication of all who serve and encourage anyone interested to apply as we work together to help shape the future of our community.”
