[ARCHIVED] Three Juveniles Arrested on Multiple Charges After Nighttime Auto Burglaries Reported

On January 3, 2022 at 11:54 p.m. the Nampa Police Department dispatch received a call

reporting three males breaking into cars in a subdivision near Smith Ave. and N. Summer

Breeze St. The caller was alerted by her home camera system. When officers arrived,

they found numerous vehicles and mailboxes had been entered and they found several

items scattered in yards. Officers also located three male juveniles on foot who admitted

to the burglaries. Officers located multiple stolen items, contraband, and a firearm. All

three juveniles were booked into the Canyon County Juvenile Detention Center for auto

burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, minor in

possession and curfew. More charges may be pending as the investigation is ongoing.

This is a good opportunity to remind everyone to make sure your valuables are removed

from your vehicle, that your vehicle is locked and that you don’t leave mail in your

mailbox for any amount of time. Please help by doing your part to protect your property.
