Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling has named Robyn Sellers as the new Economic Development Director for the City of Nampa.
Sellers previously served as the Assistant Director of Economic Development for the City of Nampa since March of 2018. Prior to working in Nampa, she worked for Business Oregon, the State of Oregon’s Economic Development Agency, for 11 years. Sellers has a Master of Business Administration from Willamette University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Utah State University.
Sellers shared, “I am thrilled to serve as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Nampa. Over the past three years while working as the Assistant Director I have learned what an amazing community Nampa is. I look forward to more opportunities to help businesses thrive and locate here.”
Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling said, “I am pleased to promote Robyn to Director of Nampa’s Economic Development department. Robyn’s dedication and wealth of knowledge has been and will continue to be a great asset to the community of Nampa.”
Senior Director of Development Services Cliff Long, who oversees Economic Development, said, “We are very fortunate to have Robyn leading our efforts to bring new jobs and investment to the community. Her work will help Nampa remain a top community for business and families.”
Sellers replaces former Economic Development Director Beth Ineck, who was hired by the Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP) in July as the Director of Economic Development.
