Due to staff shortages, increasing COVID-19 spread in the community, and our healthcare system being at crisis-level standards of care, the Nampa Library is adjusting our public hours.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 27, the Nampa Library will be open 12-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 12-5 p.m. Saturday. The extended holds pickup window hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Nampa Library highly encourages patrons to utilize the online holds system and to pick up materials at the holds pickup window, which is located on 3rd St. S., near the outdoor book return.
To place items on hold, log in to your library account at nampalibrary.org/catalog. Browse for the items you would like and place them on hold. As soon as your holds are available, you will receive notification. On the day you want to pick your items up, please call 208-468-5812 and let staff know. This allows staff time to retrieve your holds, check them out to you, and have the items ready at the window for your arrival. For more information, please visit nampalibrary.org/pickup.
Additionally, room reservation requests and most in-person programming have been suspended until further notice. Please visit the Nampa Library calendar at nampalibrary.org/calendar for virtual event and take-home packet information.
Thank you for your understanding in these uncertain times.
