The City of Nampa invites the community to comment on the proposed increases to various utility-related fees at a public hearing Tues., September 7, 2021 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Nampa City Hall.
As part of the public-approved funding plan for improvements to Nampa’s Wastewater Treatment Plant, the next regular increase to residential rates would be effective October 1, if approved by council. Sewer rates are estimated to increase by 16.75%, or approximately $6.02 per month. (Note this increase was part of the sewer revenue bond approved by Nampa residents in May 2018).
Also under consideration, and if approved by council, development customers may expect increases to domestic water and wastewater hookup fees and the residential erosion control permit fee beginning October 1, 2021.
