As a result of the BR&E program, businesses in Nampa, Idaho has become more successful, and the economic environments of the community have been strengthened. Our Team is able to work with businesses individually, which results in better relationships. In addition to our BR&E Program, our Team focuses on attraction of new businesses, infrastructure development, increased community partnerships, long-term strategic planning efforts, and workforce development.

September 21, 2015 -Heartland Recreational Vehicles, a subsidiary of Thor Industries, (NYSE:THO), one of the world leaders in recreational vehicle manufacturing, has selected Nampa, Idaho as the location for its new manufacturing facility to produce the company’s popular Heartland line of travel trailers. Once completed, Heartland expects to use the manufacturing facility to expand production for West Coast markets. The total estimated investment is approximately $11-12 million for the 248,000 square-foot facility located at 900 Karcher Road in Nampa. Heartland expects to employ approximately 120 new workers and begin production in the first quarter of 2016.


October 6, 2015-– Mother Earth Brew Co., a San Diego County-based production craft brewer, has selected Nampa, Idaho as the location for its second brewery facility. This marks its first expansion outside of California. The award-winning, production craft brewery will open a 40,000 sq. foot brewery and tasting room facility in the I-84 Industrial Park. The company is currently ordering new equipment and plans on being operational by early 2016. Idaho's Hayden Beverage will handle local distribution for Mother Earth, and Idaho consumers should see their beers on local shelves by end of October 2015. Mother Earth will start hiring initial employees in the spring of 2016 and anticipates growing to 75- 100 employees in Idaho within the next five years.


September 21, 2015 - A Spokane-Washington based Peppertree Hospitality, operating under the Best Western Plus Brand announced it will build a $5 million, four-story hotel in what is now the northwestern corner of the Nampa Civic and Convention Center parking lot. This hotel will feature 81 rooms, an indoor swimming pool and fitness center. The hotel will provide lodging for visitors and those attending events, conventions, meetings or other venues at the Nampa Civic and Convention Center.  The Best Western Plus opened in May of 2017.


The Materne family began with a jam factory in Belgium in 1888. In 1923 the family expanded a relocated to Boue, France, and in 1998 created the first ever fruit in a pouch, "Pom'Potes". In April of 2008, Materne launched GoGo squeeze to the U.S. In February of 2014, Materne North America announced an $85 million investment in a new food processing facility that would create a minimum of 230 new jobs in Nampa, Idaho. The company's products are sold in over 50,000 locations nationwide.

The Nampa facility, which began operation around 2001, is a 216,000 square foot facility which completed a $3 million expansion to its microelectronics capabilities in 2014.
