Civic Center Policies

Dress Code

Shirts and shoes are required to be worn at all times while inside the Civic Center building.


For entertainment events and certain conferences, professional security and guest hosts are on duty to manage indoor and outdoor areas. The Civic Center reserves the right to eject any guest that violates the rights of other guests to a safe and enjoyable experience. Guests violating any laws will be referred to local law enforcement. The Nampa Police Department is a City partner and will respond to any inappropriate issue for everyone’s safety.

Prohibited Items

  • Outside food and beverages including unopened bottles and cans
  • Kitchen appliance and small wares
  • Coolers or ice chests
  • Weapons as prohibited by the Lessee for their contracted event
  • Illegal substances, narcotics, chemicals, flammables
  • Animals (service animals are allowed)
  • Fireworks or pyrotechnics

Food and Beverage Policy

No food, beverages or alcohol of any sort may be brought into the Civic Center. Personal water bottles or medically required items are allowed. This policy is strictly enforced.


It is a serious violation of Idaho's liquor laws to bring alcoholic beverages inside the Civic Center whom holds the licenses. The Civic Center is committed to fully enforcing the liquor laws. Any violation of these laws and alcoholic beverages brought inside the building will be confiscated and fines to the event LESSEE will be leveled.. Alcoholic beverages will be available through Civic Center concessions for certain events. All guests will be asked to show ID by Sodexo staff serving alcoholic beverages. The Civic Center reserves the right to deny admission and/or alcohol to anyone that is intoxicated or poses a hazard to public safety.

Providing alcohol to minors, and possession of alcohol by minors is a violation of Idaho's liquor laws. Guests furnishing alcohol to minors and minors in possession of alcohol will be handled by local law enforcement.

Special Needs

We acknowledge the special needs of some of our guests. Guests requiring special needs should notify the Civic Center of those needs when purchasing tickets. Our staff will make every effort to provide the best available seat appropriate. Please make requests for services prior to attending an event. All Civic Center main entrances are ADA accessible.


The Civic Center is a smoke free facility.

First Aid

Our staff is trained to manage minor medical emergencies and will make appropriate decisions regarding calling the 911 system. The Civic Center is equipped with an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) located next to the Business office door. Certain members of the Staff are trained in CPR, AED and minor emergency aspects. Guests should contact a Civic Center employee if medical assistance is needed.

Emergency Evacuation

In the unlikely event of an emergency, Civic Center guests should follow the directions of the trained event staff and proceed to the closest exit in calm manor. Guests should check with the nearest event staff on arrival for the closest appropriate emergency exit.

Lost and Found

The Civic Center is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Cameras/Video/Audio Equipment

Photography, video and audio equipment when not permitted by certain artist copyrights during ticketed events. Most events allow use of cameras, iPhones, iPads and guests are encouraged to follow the rules for the event.

ATM Machine

For the convenience of our guests, an ATM is located at the eastside entrance.


Parking is free at the Nampa Civic Center.
