David Bills was appointed to the Nampa City Council January 2024 due to a vacancy.
Born and raised in Boise, married 44 years, three married children, twelve grandchildren.
He and his wife Carrie have resided in Nampa since 2000.
David is a graduate of Borah High School, and Boise State University. He and Carrie began attending Boise State football games while dating in high school leading to 37 years in the stadium attending games.
Through their company Lanco, Inc., they have been active since 1994 in real estate, construction and development of residential, commercial & industrial properties in Nampa. Since moving to Nampa, as a part of the community, David and Carrie have led different Biblical ministries/studies through the years. As a part of ministry extension, David has led the development/building of Crossroads Community Church, Lakeview Bible Church, Boise Rescue Mission-Lighthouse Mission transitional housing, acquisition of land, development and some building of Mission Aviation Fellowship Campus, Love, Inc.’s New Hope Community, and Good News Food Pantry. David previously served on Nampa City Council and Nampa Development Corp. Board.
Prior to moving to Nampa, David served a year on the Meridian School District School Board, co-chaired boundary committees different years thereafter. The highlight of serving was assisting with the bond approval and subsequent building of Eagle High School, and Eagle Middle School while a Trustee.
