The Fleet Services Division is responsible for maintaining and repairing one of the most diverse fleets in the state with 541 vehicles and pieces of equipment valued at over $8-million. Most of the Division’s 7 mechanics are certified with an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Technician status, several also are Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certified.
Computerized Vehicle Management
The division utilizes modern fleet management software to maximize efficiencies. This software keeps track of fuel and oil consumption, maintenance needs, supplies, and warranties. Being able to better track information on cars, trucks, heavy equipment, and even lawnmowers helps the division to be better managers and stewards of the City’s fleet.
To safely and efficiently maintain and provide the optimum fleet of equipment at the least overall cost.
