Seasonal Employment Information
For seasonal employment, please complete a Seasonal Work Interest Form, and then complete a seasonal job application for the specific seasonal position.
We are currently accepting temp/seasonal applications for the following areas:
Parks
Trash Management $14.00/hour DOE
Performs trash clean up, removal and general clean up to City Parks Division properties including parks and other city properties. Driving to various locations in a city vehicle to perform work including removing and replacing trash receptacle liners, loose debris pick up, and shelter cleaning; performs other duties as required or assigned.
Facilities Crew $14.00/hour DOE
Performs maintenance and cleaning to City Parks Division properties including restrooms and park shelters. Driving to various locations in a city vehicle to perform basic cleaning of tables, benches, toilets, sinks, drinking fountains, light fixtures, floor, wall and door surfaces; emptying trash receptacles and restocking supplies; performs other duties as required or assigned.
Forestry Crew $14.00/hour DOE
Performs tree work and general clean up to City Parks Division properties including parks and other city properties. Driving to various locations in a city vehicle to perform work including pruning, planting and clearing limbs of trees; performs other duties as required or assigned.
Mow Crew $14.00/hour DOE
Performs mowing, trimming and general clean up to City Parks Division properties including parks and other city properties. Driving to various locations in a city vehicle to perform work including pulling a trailer, loading and unloading equipment and operation of various lawn maintenance pieces of equipment; performs other duties as required or assigned.
Harward Rec Center
Lifeguard $14.36 per hour
Ensures patron safety within the vicinity of the pool facility; performs other duties as required or assigned.
Kids in Action (Daycamp Counselor) $14.00 per hour
Assists day camp attendees; performs other duties as required or assigned
Ridgecrest or Centennial Golf Course
Golf Course Grounds Keeper $13.00-$14.00/hour DOE
- Safely operate equipment including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and other implements
- Maintain overall property cleanliness
- Maintain shop cleanliness
- Bunker raking and trimming
- General golf course maintenance work
- Irrigation maintenance
- Job info:
- Hours may vary depending on seasonal requirements. Certain shifts have flexible hours.
- During the summer start times can be as early as 5:00-5:30am. Done by 2:00-2:30pm.
- Shifts are Monday-Friday. On a rare occurrence weekend help may be needed.
