In extreme winter conditions, do not drive unless necessary.
If you must drive, exercise extreme caution. Driving on hard snowpack and icy roads requires your full attention and demands your best driving skills.
Have adequate snow and/or recommend legal tread depth on tires. Bald tires are extremely hazardous in winter driving conditions. Keep chains in vehicle and use on tires when necessary.
Remember to brake slowly and leave adequate room between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you.
Be patient and courteous.
Drive defensively and at reduced speeds.
Allow sufficient travel time to reach your destination.
