NAMPA CITY COUNCIL INFORMATION

Nampa City Council meets on the first and third Monday of each month (if a holiday falls on a regular council meeting, the meeting will be held on Tuesday). 

Nampa City Council meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. and public hearings begin at 6:00 p.m. 

Nampa City Council meetings are held within the council chambers at Nampa City Hall located at 411 3rd Street South. Nampa City Council meetings (and Planning and Zoning meetings) are typically live-streamed where interested parties can watch 'live or later'. As of April 2023, the City of Nampa has transitioned our live streamed videos to Nampa's public meeting YouTube channel, found here: https://www.youtube.com/@cityofnampapublicmeetings.

Note: Agendas for regular Nampa City Council meetings are typically posted by 5 p.m. the Thursday prior to the Monday meeting.

Open Comment Period:  Residents wishing to share comments with the Mayor and Nampa City Council are invited to sign up in advance or at the Clerk's office. Typically three minutes is allowed per person for comments unless otherwise indicated due to time constraints. The open comment period occurs after the meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. (Note: this is different than public hearing comments, which begin at 6:00 p.m.).

Sharing your comments: the preferred method for sharing public testimony comments is to email [email protected]ofnampa.us by noon on the day of the council meeting, if not sooner. For questions, please contact the Clerk's Office at (208) 468-5415.
