Rolling Out Trash Carts
Have you heard the news? Nampa is rolling out automated trash and no-sort recycling! Hopefully you have seen information in the mail as well as ads in the Idaho Press Tribune. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions you may find interesting.

Irrigation Shutoff
Crews will begin pressurized irrigation shut-offs for non-payment July 15th. Last year, more than 1,700 customers had irrigation services shut off due to non-payment. Property owners should be aware it can take up to a week from the time payment is made to turn the irrigation water back on. Customers can pay their irrigation assessment online, in office, by mail, or over the phone (with a $1.50 service fee). Please see the attached document for additional information.

New Irrigation Account Numbers
Due to an update in our billing program, your Irrigation account number may have been changed—if you use our Merchant Transact website to pay your bill, and your Irrigation account number has changed, you will have to add your new Irrigation account to your online profile at http://nampa.merchanttransact.com. Please see instructions on the letter or attached here to add your new account number.

The Utility Billing Department is responsible for providing water, sewer, and trash service for the City of Nampa.

Nampa Shares & Cares

In this challenging economy, many Nampa families are having a hard time making ends meet. The City of Nampa’s Utility Billing office has joined forces with Western Idaho Community Action Partnership (WICAP) to launch the Nampa Shares and Cares Program.

By adding a tax-deductible donation to your bimonthly city utility bill, you can help someone less fortunate pay their water and sewer bill. The entire donation will be used to help those in need.
