The Nampa Civic Center kicks off the holiday season with its annual Craft & Chocolate Affaire planned for early November. The annual event will be held Nov. 4 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission at the door is $2 and concessions are available.

Chocolate connoisseurs who crave chocolate should prepare to be wowed with delicious handmade chocolates from a local classic candy shop and a beautiful flowing chocolate fountain.  And if that isn’t enough, check out the delectable temptations including chocolate dipped fruit, fruit baskets and freshly baked cakes.

With more than 90 artisans and commercial vendors at the event, make sure to bring your holiday shopping lists.  Hand-crafted items including one-of-a-kind home décor, custom painted glassware, handmade soaps, jewelry, baby gifts and everything you need to bundle up for the winter and décor will delight visitors. Other bazaar favorites include fine “chocolate” jewelry, personal beauty products and aroma therapy products.

As a bonus, each paid entrant 12 and older receives a raffle ticket entry to win Chocolate Pearls from LaDon’s Fine Jewelry and other delightful prizes. A portion of the ticket price supports the Nampa Arts & Humanities Council under the Nampa Civic Foundation.

Limited vendor space is still available. Call Julie at 468-4438 for more information.
