The city of Nampa now offers a new, easy-to-use interactive road report to better serve city residents.
“This new format for the road report is visual, always up to date, and makes it easier to plan trips and navigate around projects that may delay travel time,” City Engineer Tom Points said.

The dynamic map identifies road and lane closures, along with detour information. Users can click on the red or orange lines to read details on the project, including an estimated completion date. It will also show special events, such as parades.
Currently, contractors are required to post signs in advance of upcoming road closures, warning those who already travel the road that they may want to take a different route.
To help with the transition, the city will continue to post a link weekly on Facebook and Nextdoor, providing a weekly reminder to check for road closures that might impact travel around the city.
Press releases about major construction projects will still be issued to provide residents detailed information about work that may close streets.
