Kohlerlawn Cemetery tours will highlight prominent historical citizens

Kohlerlawn Cemetery

Join the city of Nampa on a walking tour of the Kohlerlawn Cemetery. Led by historian/tour guide Bill Dean, and narrated by Larry Cain, Canyon County Historical Society President. The tour will include the final resting place of some of Nampa's most influential residents, with new and interesting stories that are sure to engage and educate you and your family.

Get a brief narrative on some of Nampa's historic individuals, including Herbert Littleton congressional medal of honor recipient, Annie Laurie Bird Nampa historian and teacher, and H.H. Keim former mayor and local businessman. This tour will also highlight Doc Hisom, a local veterinarian, Laddie Zacek who was killed at Pearl Harbor, along with several more interesting historical citizens.

A shuttle will be provided for patrons who may have difficulty with the cemetery terrain. Refreshments will be provided after the tour by D.A.R. Ee-dah-how Chapter. For more information please call 468-5898.
