Tire Drive 2017 set for Aug. 18-19

tire

The city of Nampa and Les Schwab Tires are working together to keep the community clean by conducting a FREE used tire collection event on Aug. 18 and 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the city of Nampa Streets Division, 106 W. Railroad St., Nampa. This event is available for all city of Nampa residents to participate.

The Tire Drive is the city’s effort to help citizens in removing tires. They are a code violation, an eyesore, and a health hazard. Please do your part in removing any tires on your property, alleys, or right of ways. Let’s work together in keeping Nampa a clean and safe place to live!

What are the collection guidelines?

  • No cost for city of Nampa residents
    • Must present proof of residency
  • Automotive tires from residential properties ONLY
    • Absolutely no tires from businesses
  • Tires should be cleaned and removed from the rims.
  • Commercial tires are not accepted

Please contact Greg Goodman at (208) 468-5464 with any questions or concerns regarding the Tire Drive.
