Mayor Bob Henry is seeking applications from city residents interested in serving on Nampa’s Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee. The committee shall serve in an advisory capacity as city officials make decisions involving development impact fees, land use and capital improvements.
Idaho Code, Section 67-8203(9), allows cities to impose impact fees as a condition of development for a proportionate share of the cost of system improvements needed to serve development in the areas of police, fire, streets and parks.
Two Nampa city residents will be appointed to the committee. The mayor recommends appointments to the City Council for approval. The Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee meets about two times a year. Two Nampa residents will be appointed. Development experience is not necessary to apply.
Nampa city residents interested in serving on the committee should send a letter indicating interest, and a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail it to the Mayor’s Office, 411 3rd St. S., Nampa, ID 83651. The letter should also include home address and contact information.
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, Aug. 1.
