The city of Nampa began construction of a new pressurized irrigation pipeline along Southside Boulevard today, July 10. Construction is expected to take about three weeks.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane on Southside Boulevard between East Iowa Avenue and Wilson Lane on Monday, July 24 and Tuesday, July 25. Flaggers will direct traffic through the construction zone and drivers should expect delays.

The $111,000 project will install a pressurized irrigation pipeline and pressure reducing valve along Southside. The Oakhurst station will be transferred from the upper zone to the lower zone.

For more information on the project and schedule, visit the city’s project webpage at http://www.cityofnampa.us/Projects. If you have questions, please call 465-2221 or email projects@cityofnampa.us.
