City of Nampa starts Indian Creek Pathway repair; work slated to be completed by Sept. 16

Indian Creek Pathway Repair

Starting Monday, June 19, a portion of Indian Creek Pathway will be renovated and under construction. Work is scheduled to take place throughout the summer with an estimated completion date of Sept. 16. While the pathway is under construction it will be closed for public use. It is important pedestrians stay off the pathway during the construction period because it will not be safe for recreational use.

“Renovation of this pathway is needed due to erosion that has taken place throughout the years,” Parks and Recreation Director Darrin Johnson said. “We are looking forward to getting this project done so our citizens will have better walking opportunities on the Indian Creek Pathway.

Reconstruction of the pathway will take place on the pathway between Kings Road and Sugar Street. The project will fix and replace current safety issues with the pathway. The project will provide renovation to Indian Creek Pathway but it will not include additional length.
