Sunnyridge between Locust Lane and Greenhurst Road will be closed for irrigation upgrade

detour sign

The city of Nampa will close Sunnyridge Road Friday morning between Locust Lane and Greenhurst Road for the installation of a pressure reducing valve and pressure irrigation line along Sunnyridge Road.

Thru traffic will be detoured to South Powerline Road during the duration of Phase 1 of the project. Local access will be limited to residents in that stretch. Phase 1 should wrap up by March 15.

The project is part of the city’s need for pressure irrigation system upgrades identified near Sunnyridge Road. The improvements will add system capacity for future development, especially during high-demand periods.

Estimated costs of the project include $97,025 for engineering and bidding services and $577,034 for construction. Milestone Construction will do the work.
