The Nampa Senior Center is a private, non-profit corporation that has been providing services to Nampa area seniors for over 30 years. We provide over 30,000 meals annually on a donation basis to seniors 60 years of age and over. Funding for our meals and other services depends primarily upon private donations. No senior is ever turned away due to inability to pay. We have a 22 member volunteer Board, the Nampa Council on Aging. Board members serve 3 year terms. Three of the Board members are appointed by the Mayor, the other members are appointed by RSVP, AARP, the Good Friends Club, the Senior Citizen's Club, the Nutrition Committee, and 3 Members at Large are elected by the NCOA Board of Directors.
The Council on Aging meets the 2nd Monday of each month from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm in the multipurpose room at the Senior Center located on the east side of the Rec Center.
